Billbergia vittata is a striking bromeliad species native to the Atlantic Forest of eastern Brazil, particularly in the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, and Rio de Janeiro.

This plant grows upright rosettes up to 60 cm tall, with stiff, narrow leaves marked by silver bands on green or purplish tones. The leaf edges have small spines, and the centre forms a "tank" that holds water.

How to care for your Bilbergia -

Water: Water sparingly in the cup of the bromeliad.

Light: Allow bright indirect light, avoid direct light as this can cause discolouration. 

Humidity: They love warmth and humidity, a bathroom or kitchen would be a perfect spot.

Temperature: They prefer warm temperatures about 20 degrees C.
