Caladium Chinook

Caladium Chinook

Caladium ‘Chinook’ is a compact, low-growing plant with heart-shaped leaves. Each leaf has a soft salmon-pink centre, bright rose-pink veins, and a green edge that changes slightly in tone as it matures. New leaves appear tightly rolled before opening up to show their colours. Growing to about 40–50 cm tall and 20–30 cm wide, it’s perfect for pots and smaller spaces.

How to care for your Caladium -

Water: Water once soil is dry to the touch.

Light: Allow bright indirect light, keep away from direct sun or leaves will scorch.

Humidity: Humidity is crucial for caladiums, keep humidity high by either using a pebble tray or misting frequently.

Temperature: Keep in at least 18 degrees C.
