Hoya shepherdii | String Bean Hoya

Hoya shepherdii, often referred to as the 'String Bean Hoya' due to its distinctive foliage, is an epiphytic vine belonging to the Apocynaceae family. It features long, narrow, succulent-like leaves that cascade gracefully, making it suitable for hanging baskets or trained on supports. When mature, it produces clusters of star-shaped flowers that are white or light pink with red centres, emitting a sweet, perfume-like fragrance.​

How to care for your Hoya -

Water: Less is more when it comes to watering; we like to wait until the leaves pucker slightly.

Light: This Hoya grows best in very bright light. Southern exposure is best, but it can adapt to east or west locations in front of a window.

Humidity: They like high humidity and would be perfect for a bathroom or kitchen.

Temperature: Average room temperature is fine.
