Arthrostemma parvifolium is a rare tropical terrarium plant from the Melastomataceae family.

It's loved for its velvety, iridescent foliage and is native to Mexico and El Salvador, typically growing in wet tropical areas. One for our rare terrarium lovers and we're incredibly lucky to house this species!

This species is often found in bright shade to mostly shade environments and prefers regular watering and well-drained soil.

How to care for your Arthrostemma  -

Water:  Allow soil to dry out partially between waterings. Keep lightly moist during active growth but avoid saturated soil. Reduce watering during cooler months or periods of dormancy.

Light: They enjoy bright but indirect sunlight, direct sun can scorch the leaves.

Humidity: They love warmth and humidity, a bathroom or kitchen would be a perfect spot.

Temperature: They prefer warm temperatures about 20 degrees C.
