Primulina yungfuensis is a small perennial from the Gesneriaceae family, native to limestone areas in Guangxi, southern China. It forms a compact rosette of dark green, softly textured leaves, sometimes with subtle sheen or variegation. In the wild, it grows in bright but shaded, humid, well-drained limestone crevices conditions that suit it well indoors.

It produces small flowers and is cared for like other Primulina (often compared to African violets). Though less common than hybrid varieties, it’s prized by collectors for its foliage and compact size, making it ideal for terrariums and small pots.

Native to: Central, eastern, and southern Africa, including Madagascar and the Comoro Islands. 

Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. B

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. 

Humidity: Prefers higher humidity levels.

Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 18–24°C. 

Toxicity: Non-toxic to pets
